The shop on Townsend-Winona Rd

Honest work, right off the interstate.

S & J Auto is Rick's tire and repair shop on Townsend-Winona Road, a few minutes off I-40 at the Winona exit and about twenty minutes east of downtown Flagstaff.

Locals come down from Doney Park and in from town. Travelers limp in off the interstate with a blown tire or a noise they don't like. Everybody gets the same thing: Rick looks at it, tells you what's actually wrong and what it'll take, and lets you decide.

No upsell and no runaround. That's what our Google reviews keep saying, in their own words.

Flagstaff is hard on tires.

Snow and ice from fall into spring, cinder roads out in Doney Park, freeze-thaw potholes, and whatever falls off a truck on the interstate. When we look at your tires, we look at all of it.

“My mom and sister hit a pretty sizeable item in the road going East on the 40. They got towed to his shop, and it turned out that the undercarriage of the Camry was totaled. Rick verbally agreed to let us park it at his shop for 2 weeks for a minimal fee and when it came time to pick it up he kept his word. He helped my husband inspect the damage and gave honest advice. He genuinely saved us while we were in a bind, 10 hours away from home. If we could give him 100 Stars we would. Thank you Rick for your help and for your honesty, we sincerely appreciate you.”
